The Department of Materials Management Technologies organized the workshop, in which Assistant Professor Dr. Shahla Salem Khaleel Al-Abadi gave a lecture on the green initiatives that can be adopted to enhance any activity in the green field.
The objectives of the workshop were: 1. to discuss among the trainee colleagues the most important initiatives that can contribute to enhancing any activity in the green field. 2. to clarify the nature of the green initiatives that individuals can undertake.
The recommendations from the workshop emphasized: 1. the need to raise awareness about the importance of environmental consciousness among individuals working in industrial and service activities. 2. to encourage efforts to reduce waste in all areas of life, including water, food, and other matters.
