under the auspices of Dr. Aliaa Abbas Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Shahla Abdul Wahab Abdul Qadir, Dean of the Mosul Technical Institute, Department of Material Management Technologies.
The study session was presented by Rasha Mohsen Sheet, Assistant Professor, and covered the following topics:
1- Definition of the concept of lean production and its important characteristics and tools.
2- Definition of quality in general and product quality in particular, as well as the goals and dimensions of product quality.
The objectives of the study session were:
1- To familiarize participants with the tools of lean production.
2- To clarify the requirements of lean production that contribute to product quality and improvement.
The recommendations were:
1- The need to adopt experts who are experienced in the field of lean production management.
2- To improve creativity, encourage it, and provide quality to the customer.
