Mosul Technical Engineering College Council Holds its Fourth Session for the Current Year.

Mosul Technical Engineering College Council held its fourth session for the 2025-2026 academic year, chaired by and in both positions of the President of Northern Technical University and the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, , in the presence of all council members. During the meeting, the council discussed:

– Reviewing ministerial and university directives and instructions from the university presidency.

– Proceeding with raising the level of rigorous scientific publication and working to include the university’s journals in the Scopus database and expand the international publication base.

– Adhering to ministerial deadlines.

– Emphasizing that graduate student research should be applied in nature and serve the state and community sectors.

– Utilizing the distinguished talents of faculty and students within the university to enhance academic excellence.

– Activating agreements and academic cooperation with relevant local and international entities. – Urging academic departments to prepare and update annual maintenance plans for laboratory equipment and infrastructure. Monitoring the implementation of the annual maintenance plan for laboratory equipment and infrastructure and documenting the stages of completion.

– Emphasizing the activation of workshops and scientific seminars, making them interactive, advanced, and responsive to practical applications.

– Receiving Dr. Nabil Mukhlif Abdul-Razzaq (Director of the Quality Assurance Department) to discuss program accreditation requirements.

– Following up on the requests and needs of students in the dormitories and working to create a suitable living environment.

– Discussing matters related to undergraduate and graduate students.

– Discussing administrative and financial matters related to our college.

– Discussing the items on the council’s agenda.
