Ministerial Committee for New Academic Departments Visits Mosul Technical Institute to Assess Readiness for Establishing New Scientific Departments.

As part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s ongoing efforts to develop technical education and expand scientific disciplines, the ministerial committee responsible for new academic departments visited Mosul Technical Institute, affiliated with the Northern Technical University. The committee was accompanied by Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar and the University’s Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Omar Rafea Mahmoud, to review the preparations for launching new scientific departments.
The committee was received by the Dean of the Institute along with his assistants for scientific and administrative affairs. During the visit, the committee toured classrooms and scientific laboratories, evaluated the academic, technical, and administrative staff, and reviewed the laboratories’ needs in terms of educational supplies, equipment, and necessary devices.
The visit also included an inspection of logistical components required for the establishment of the new departments, including rooms, lecture halls, laboratories, equipment, and administrative units. The committee expressed its satisfaction with the ongoing preparations and commended the efforts made, while also providing a set of observations aimed at enhancing performance and supporting future development.
