Minister of Higher Education Honors Winners of the Third Edition of the Higher Education Reading Award

His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research honored the winners of the Third Edition of the Higher Education Reading Award.

Dr. Abbas Mohammed Nouri, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs at the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Kirkuk, participated alongside the winning student from Northern Technical University, Marwa Jassim Mohammed (College of Health and Medical Technologies / Kirkuk – Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques / Third Stage), in the central ceremony organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to honor the students who won the Third Edition of the Higher Education Reading Award for the year 2025.

The ceremony was held in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, members of the Ministry’s senior leadership, the Head of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, presidents of Iraqi universities, and college deans.

The event program included an opening address by His Excellency the Minister, followed by a speech delivered by the Ministry’s Advisor, Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan, on behalf of the organizing committee, after which a documentary film was presented highlighting the stages and objectives of the award.

The ceremony concluded with a commemorative photo session for the winning students and members of the ministerial organizing committee. His Excellency the Minister commended the committee’s efforts in preparation and organization and congratulated all students on their well-deserved achievements.
