Meeting of UNESCO team and University of Florence, Italy

The President of the Northern Technical University meets with the UNESCO team and the University of Florence, Italy, in the presence of a representative from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.Within the framework of enhancing joint cooperation between the Northern Technical University and European universities and international organizations, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, held a fruitful meeting with representatives of the University of Florence, Italy, and UNESCO – Iraq Branch.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, the Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Department, and a number of heads of scientific departments at the university, in addition to a representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Dr. Zainab).
The meeting discussed future projects that are scheduled to be launched during the coming period in a way that enhances the university’s position and contributes to achieving international standards in higher education.
This meeting comes as an affirmation of the university’s commitment to supporting the progress process and openness to pioneering international experiences, which is positively reflected in the quality of education and academic services it provides.
