2025-10-13Mechanical Engineering Department Hosts Seminar on Quality Assurance for Institutional Excellence
The Department of Mechanical Engineering Techniques, in collaboration with the Division of Quality Assurance and University Performance, organized a seminar titled (Quality Assurance: A Path Towards Institutional Excellence and Sustainable Development).
Seminar Objectives
The seminar aimed to achieve the following:
- Improve institutional performance.
- Enhance stakeholder confidence.
- Develop mechanisms for oversight and follow-up.
- Raise the efficiency of internal operations.
Recommendations
The following recommendations were put forth:
- Entrepreneurs should accord greater attention to the process of entrepreneurial thinking.
- The necessity for entrepreneurs to innovate unexplored projects.
- Business incubators should train entrepreneurs and elevate their thinking skills.
- The importance of measuring the risk ratio in projects executed by entrepreneurs.
- Funding institutions should endeavor to disseminate a culture of entrepreneurial thinking.
It is worth noting that the seminar was under the patronage of Dr. Alia al-Attar, the President of NTU , and the supervision of Dr. Abdul Nasser Kashmola, the Dean of Mosul Polytechnic College.
