Program Objective

Master’s in Thermal Engineering Techniques:

The program aims to prepare advanced and distinguished engineering cadres capable of creativity and innovation, possessing advanced scientific and practical skills that qualify them to interact positively with the academic and research community and collaborate with colleagues in the industrial and educational fields. The program also seeks to enable students to gain in-depth experience in the fields of thermal and energy technologies, and to develop their communication and knowledge transfer abilities at the local and global levels.

The objectives are summarized as follows:

  • Conducting advanced scientific research and studies in the fields of thermal energy and related technologies.
  • Providing scientific and engineering consultations to industrial and service institutions, contributing to the solution of complex technical problems.
  • Designing, developing, and modernizing thermal energy systems, and refrigeration and air conditioning systems to suit local climatic and environmental conditions.
  • Studying renewable energy sources and employing them as effective alternatives to conventional fuels and electricity in industrial and service applications.
  • Enhancing the ability to use modern engineering simulation programs and analyze thermal systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Developing critical and creative thinking skills in addressing energy and sustainability issues.
  • Contributing to the dissemination of scientific knowledge through the preparation of solid research and scientific articles that contribute to raising the profile of the department and the university.
  • Preparing qualified academic staff to teach and interact with undergraduate and graduate students, contributing to the development of the educational process.
