Course assessment is based on assignments, semester (midterm and final) examinations, and a research thesis. Graduate students must successfully complete thirteen courses (26 units). Students who fail one or more courses are given the opportunity to take a second-semester examination. A minimum average of 70% in both semesters is required to pass the coursework phase; otherwise, the student will be considered to have failed this phase.
