Launching the Third Season of the “Programming and Robotics Forum” at Northern Technical University.

Under the guidance and presence of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University, and with the supervision of Prof. Dr. Omar Rafea Mahmoud, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, the university has officially launched the third season of the “Programming and Robotics Forum”. This initiative comes as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to keep pace with technological advancements and to foster youth skills in the fields of digital innovation.
The forum is organized by the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division, in collaboration with the Electronic Computer Center and the Innovation Lab at the university presidency. It aims to enhance the capabilities of students and children of university staff in areas such as programming, robotics, artificial intelligence, and 3D printing technology.
The program features specialized training workshops targeting the age group of 12 to 15 years, supervised by a select group of distinguished university staff and alumni. These workshops are designed to instill a culture of technology and encourage innovative thinking among the younger generation.
This forum is part of a broader series of initiatives launched by Northern Technical University to promote IT culture and develop youth potential, in alignment with the national digital transformation strategy and the scientific advancement movement in Iraq and the region.
