Kirkuk Polytechnic College Celebrates Iraqi National Day in an Atmosphere Filled with Pride and Belonging 🇮🇶

Under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Ashti Mahdi Aref, Dean of Kirkuk Polytechnic College, the college held a special celebration today, Thursday, 2/10/2025, on the occasion of the Iraqi National Day.

The event began with the recitation of fragrant verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the recitation of Al-Fatiha in mercy for the souls of the righteous martyrs of Iraq, then a minute of silence in honor of their eternal sacrifices.

A speech was also delivered by the Deputy Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Essam Salah Al-Din, addressing the importance of enhancing the spirit of national belonging and the role of the college in supporting national occasions and highlighting the values of loyalty and devotion to the homeland.

Afterwards, the attendees enjoyed segments of the celebration that included the recitation of national poems and verses expressing deep belonging and love for the homeland, emphasizing the values of unity, solidarity, and pride in the Iraqi identity.

The event witnessed wide interaction from all attendees, where students and staff expressed their joy in participating in this national occasion and affirmed the importance of preserving the national heritage and promoting the values of good citizenship among future generations.

This celebration at Kirkuk Polytechnic College embodied the meanings of loyalty to the homeland and confirmed that Iraq will remain proud with its loyal sons and their steadfast determination toward a bright future, and that such events enhance the national spirit among everyone and support social cohesion.
