In line with the principle of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation among Iraqi universities, the Deanship of the Technical Agricultural College – Mosul welcomed Assist. Prof. Dr. Adel Abdulrahman, Head of the Department of Food Sciences at the College of Agriculture, Tikrit University.

He was received by Dr. Maha Abdulmunem Al-Jawadi, Head of the Department of Biotechnology Technologies and Food Sciences at the Technical Agricultural College. During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance learning outcomes in the two departments, reviewed recent developments in academic curricula, and examined the latest updates adopted by the Northern Technical University. The discussion also focused on mechanisms for integrating technical education approaches within the academic programs of the College of Agriculture at Tikrit University.

The meeting further addressed the possibility of organizing joint scientific activities within the framework of cooperation agreements between the two universities, as well as strengthening joint scientific research through the formation of specialized research teams aimed at addressing challenges facing the agricultural sector, particularly in the field of food sciences.

For his part, the Head of the Department of Food Sciences at the College of Agriculture, Tikrit University, expressed the department’s full readiness for scientific, academic, and professional cooperation, contributing to the development of shared capacities and the advancement of scientific and research standards at both institutions.
