Northern Technical University recognizes the critical role of vegetation in addressing climate change and enhancing air quality. To support this initiative, the university has developed a strategic plan focused on planting trees and drought-resistant plants in underutilized areas, contributing to water conservation. The total forested area on campus spans approximately (1,921,095 m²), which constitutes (39.6%) of the total campus area. This extensive green space is actively utilized for a variety of purposes, including research, teaching, and community engagement, providing a dynamic environment for academic and practical learning experiences while fostering environmental stewardship.
