Graduation Requirements – PhD Program in Electrical Engineering Techniques
To graduate from the PhD Program in Electrical Engineering Techniques, students must fulfill the following requirements:
Successful completion of coursework totaling 24 credit hours, including both core and elective courses.
Passing the Qualifying Examination (both oral and written).
Completion of a PhD dissertation equivalent to 36 credit hours, based on original research in a specialized field within Electrical Engineering Techniques.
Total required credit hours for graduation: 60 credit hours.
Additional Requirements:
A student who fails any course is granted one opportunity to retake the exam or repeat the course.
Failure in the second attempt results in dismissal from the program, in accordance with institutional academic regulations.
The dissertation must demonstrate scientific rigor, originality, and relevance to current challenges or innovations in the field of electrical engineering systems and technologies.
