Graduation Requirements – PhD Program in Electrical Engineering Techniques

To graduate from the PhD Program in Electrical Engineering Techniques, students must fulfill the following requirements:

• Successful completion of coursework totaling 24 credit hours, including both core and elective courses.

• Passing the Qualifying Examination (both oral and written).

• Completion of a PhD dissertation equivalent to 36 credit hours, based on original research in a specialized field within Electrical Engineering Techniques.

• Total required credit hours for graduation: 60 credit hours.

Additional Requirements:

• A student who fails any course is granted one opportunity to retake the exam or repeat the course.

• Failure in the second attempt results in dismissal from the program, in accordance with institutional academic regulations.

• The dissertation must demonstrate scientific rigor, originality, and relevance to current challenges or innovations in the field of electrical engineering systems and technologies.
