Engineering Technical College Student Earns Three International Certificates from Cisco and Google
A student from the Engineering Technical College of Computer and Artificial Intelligence has obtained three international certificates from Cisco and Google in the fields of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
In line with the vision of the University President, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, in her continuous support of students and their academic achievements, and with the attention and follow-up of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Ibrahim Dalal Bashi, the college continues to foster a stimulating academic environment that develops students’ skills and empowers them to excel in modern technical specializations.
In this context, student Abdulhafith Atiyah Sayel – Second Year / Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies – achieved a notable academic accomplishment by earning three internationally accredited certificates for the year 2026 from reputable global technology institutions.
He obtained the Ethical Hacker certificate from Cisco through the Cisco Networking Academy, specializing in information security and system penetration testing to enhance protection and address vulnerabilities according to recognized professional methodologies. He also earned the Network Defense certificate from the same organization, focusing on network protection strategies, data security, and responding to cyber threats.
Additionally, he received the Generative AI for Educators certificate from Google in collaboration with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), which aims to integrate generative artificial intelligence technologies into the educational process and enhance learning environments using advanced digital tools.
This achievement reflects the students’ commitment to advancing their knowledge and specialized skills, and to keeping pace with developments in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, thereby strengthening their academic and professional readiness.
