Distinguished Participation of a Faculty Member from the Agricultural Technical College – Mosul in the First Agricultural Scientific Forum

With the support of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Bajjari, Dean of the Agricultural Technical College – Mosul, Asst. Prof. Dr. Haitham Abdul-Sattar Saeed, a faculty member in the Plant Production Techniques Department, participated in the First Agricultural Scientific Forum, organized by the Agricultural Research Center / Research and Development Authority / Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

During the forum, Dr. Haitham presented two distinguished scientific papers:
🔸️ The Effect of Genetic Action on Single Crosses of Maize (Zea mays L.)
🔸️ General and Specific Combining Ability and Backcrossing Effects on Yield and Its Components in Broad Bean (Vicia faba L.)

The event witnessed a wide attendance, including the Representative of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the President of the Research and Development Authority, several university presidents, deans, and a group of agricultural researchers and specialists. Discussions focused on the latest scientific approaches to improving agricultural production and crop quality.

At the conclusion of the forum, Asst. Prof. Dr. Haitham Abdul-Sattar Saeed received a Certificate of Participation and a Letter of Appreciation from the President of the Research and Development Authority, in recognition of his active scientific contribution and outstanding research efforts during the forum.
