Directorate of Nineveh Environment Visits Northern Technical University.

The President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Aliya Abbas Ali Al-Attar, hosted a delegation from the Nineveh Environment Directorate at her office, headed by Mr. Omar Khader Shlawy, the Director of the Nineveh Environment Directorate. During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance mutual cooperation in areas such as environmental protection, sustainability, and raising environmental awareness among the university’s students and staff.
The President of the university emphasized Northern Technical University’s commitment to supporting environmental initiatives and implementing the Green University standards. She also highlighted the importance of partnerships with relevant government institutions to achieve sustainable development.
The delegation from the Environment Directorate praised the active role of the university in environmental activities and awareness initiatives, expressing their readiness to collaborate on organizing workshops and joint campaigns aimed at improving the environmental situation in Nineveh Governorate.
