Dean of Kirkuk Polytechnic College Welcomes the Head of the Ministerial Scout Delegation
The Dean of Kirkuk Polytechnic College, Professor Dr. Yashti Mahdi Aref, received Assistant Professor Dr. Asaad Kazem Maki, the head of the ministerial scout delegation, in her office during his visit to the college to review preparations for welcoming scout students from various Iraqi universities.
During the meeting, ongoing preparations for organizing the first university scout test were discussed, along with reviewing the programs prepared by the college’s organizing committees to ensure the success of this important youth event, which focuses on developing students’ skills and enhancing their sense of belonging and social responsibility.
The Dean praised the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in supporting scouting activities, affirming the college’s commitment to providing all necessary resources to ensure the success of these initiatives that contribute to building the university student’s personality and developing their leadership abilities.
For his part, Assistant Professor Dr. Asaad Kazem Maki expressed his thanks and appreciation to the college’s dean for the warm reception and organization, valuing the fruitful cooperation between the college and the ministerial delegation in creating a suitable environment for scouting and student activities.
At the end of the visit, the delegation conducted a field tour of the college’s facilities, including the sports hall, the stadium, and health facilities, reviewing their readiness to receive students and the logistical and technical preparations made by the college to ensure the successful and distinguished conduct of the first university scout test.
