With the close follow-up of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and within the framework of her tireless efforts to keep pace with scientific and technological developments and meet the needs of the labor market, the Northern Technical University continues to achieve qualitative achievements in the field of developing academic specializations. The number of academic departments at the university has increased from 72 to 114, a step that reflects the university’s commitment to horizontal and vertical expansion to cover various modern scientific and technical fields.
This progress did not stop at the academic departments; it also included the expansion of the university’s formations, doubling their number from 9 to 18, reflecting the strategic approach the university is adopting to strengthen its academic structure and develop its educational programs.
