Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and under the direction of Prof. Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Bajjari, Dean of the College, the Agricultural Technical College concluded the training course titled “Immunological Tests Used for Detecting Viral and Bacterial Infections,” held from 23–27 November 2025.

• The course aimed to:
Enhance participants’ skills in understanding immunological diagnostic mechanisms and improve their ability to use advanced laboratory techniques for accurate detection of infectious diseases. This contributes to developing laboratory and research work within academic and health institutions.

• Key recommendations included:

• Developing laboratories with modern immunological devices and technologies that align with global advancements in disease diagnosis.

• Increasing specialized training courses for laboratory staff and faculty members to enhance scientific and practical efficiency.

• Encouraging joint research among scientific departments in the field of viral and bacterial diseases to support practical applications.

• Strengthening collaboration between academic and health sectors to integrate theoretical and practical diagnostic approaches.

• Updating practical curricula to keep pace with advancements in immunodiagnostic technologies.
