Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee Visits Northern Technical University / Rashidiya Campus.

Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University, welcomed Dr. Mazahim Al-Khayyat, Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee in the Iraqi Council of Representatives, during his official visit to the university’s Rashidiya campus. The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation between the legislative and academic bodies, as well as to assess the university’s infrastructure and the progress of its educational journey.
Dr. Al-Khayyat was received by the Dean of the Mosul Medical Institute, the Dean of the Agricultural Technical College, and several deans and faculty members of the university. During the meeting, they discussed ways to support the educational and technical sector, providing a conducive environment for students by developing laboratories, classrooms, and supporting scientific research projects.
The Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee emphasized his commitment to supporting technical universities, recognizing them as a fundamental pillar in preparing specialized technical personnel who contribute to both the community and the labor market. He also commended the efforts of the Northern Technical University leadership and its administration at the Rashidiya campus in enhancing academic and administrative standards.
