Agricultural Technical College Continues to Support the “5 Million Trees” Planting Initiative

In line with the initiative of the Prime Minister to plant five million trees, and with the support of the President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the guidance of the Dean of the Agricultural Technical College, Prof. Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Bajari, as well as the coordination and follow-up of the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Fares Faisal, and the Head of the Plant Production Techniques Department, Asst. Prof. Waad Saeed Feezy, along with the members of the subcommittee, the Agricultural Technical College – Mosul continues its active efforts to support environmental initiatives and promote sustainable development programs.

As part of this effort, the college provided the Nineveh Veterinary Hospital with a variety of trees to be planted as part of the national afforestation campaign, reaffirming its commitment to improving the environment and expanding green spaces within the province.

The Agricultural Technical College – Mosul reiterates its continuous commitment to supporting all initiatives that aim to protect the environment and promote the culture of tree planting as an effective step towards combating climate change and achieving sustainable development.
