A researcher from Northern Technical University / Kirkuk Medical Technical Institute has published an international scientific paper indexed in Scopus Q2.

The paper, titled:
“Deep Learning for Dependable Audio Detection on Mobile Devices in Noisy Environments,”
was published in the International Journal on Communications Antenna and Propagation (IRECAP), which is indexed in Scopus (Q2).

The research aims to improve the accuracy of audio analysis on smartphones using deep learning techniques. A smart system named Deep Ear was developed that can recognize and analyze sounds with high accuracy even in noisy environments.

This scientific achievement is credited to researcher Samir Ahmed Mohammed / Assistant Lecturer – Head of the Media and Government Communication Division, with the participation of researchers from the university. The research results showed that the proposed system outperformed traditional methods and can run efficiently on mobile devices with low power consumption.
