A ministerial committee visits the Technical Institute in Kirkuk to follow up on the activities of the advisory council.On the morning of Tuesday, May 6, 2025, Professor Dr. Ashti Mahdi Aref, Dean of the Technical Institute in Kirkuk, received a ministerial committee assigned to monitor the work of the advisory council at the institute,
as part of efforts to enhance cooperation between academic institutions and labor market sectors.During the visit, an extensive meeting was held with the members of the advisory committee at the institute, where discussions took place on ways to develop educational and training programs, and to listen to the proposals made by members regarding linking technical education outputs to the needs of the local labor market. The importance of activating the role of the advisory council was also emphasized, contributing to improving the quality of education and expanding opportunities for students after graduation.The ministerial committee reviewed the activities and work of the council, praising the efforts made by the institute’s administration in this regard, and calling for continued coordination and exchange of views between the institute and relevant institutions.For her part, Dr. Ashti Mahdi Aref welcomed the committee’s visit, reaffirming the institute’s commitment to implementing the ministerial recommendations and working to strengthen effective partnerships with government institutions.and specifically, in a way that serves the educational process in Iraq.
