A lecturer at Al-Door Technical Institute/Northern Technical University publishes a scientific paper in a prestigious international journal ranked Q1.

Dr. Asmaa Munim Abdullah, Head of the Medical Devices Technology Department at the Institute, published her research titled “Designing and Manufacturing a Flexible Heel of a Printed Prosthetic Foot for Rehabilitation” in the International Review of Applied Sciences and Engineering journal, which is ranked Q1 globally.
The research involved the design and manufacture of a flexible heel for a printed prosthetic foot using 3D printing technology. The goal is to improve the performance of the prosthetic foot and provide greater comfort for users, namely those with lower-limb amputations.
This design also provides:
