A delegation from the Northern Technical University visits the Nineveh Governorate Office

In pursuit of our university’s vision, as represented by the University President, Professor Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, to achieve the highest levels of cooperation between our university and service institutions in both the public and private sectors, a delegation from the Continuing Education Center at the Northern Technical University visited the Nineveh Governorate Office. During the visit, the delegation met with Mr. Ghazwan Hamed Hamid Al-Daoudi, the First Deputy Governor of Nineveh, and Mr. Ahmed Younis Thanoun, the Assistant Governor for Planning Affairs, to discuss mechanisms for activating the memorandum of joint cooperation between the two sides.

The meeting witnessed discussions on ways to develop and qualify the technical, engineering, and administrative staff in the governorate’s departments through the implementation of specialized training and development programs provided by the Continuing Education Center. This contributes to raising the efficiency of institutional performance and enhancing professional capabilities, in line with the requirements of the current stage.

Both sides affirmed the importance of solidifying the strategic partnership between the Northern Technical University and the local government of Nineveh, given the university’s academic expertise that contributes to preparing national competencies and supporting the march of sustainable development in the governorate. Emphasis was placed on establishing clear executive mechanisms to translate the items of the cooperation memorandum for staff development into practical steps that enhance technical, engineering, and administrative capacities to serve the public interest.
