A delegation from the Ministry of Environment, consisting of the Office of the Technical Advisor, the Department of Climate Change, and the Nineveh Environment Department, represented by the Climate Change Branch, visited our Northern Technical University as part of the Ministry’s awareness program on climate change, in collaboration with the media. The purpose of the visit was to learn about the leading projects in the field of environmental work by state institutions and disseminate them to other institutions.
During their visit to the university, they were received by Dr. Omar Rafee Mahmoud, the Assistant Vice President for Scientific Affairs, to learn about the university’s sustainable projects, including solar-powered buildings, modern controlled agriculture, green spaces, and environmentally friendly production projects that the university is working on.
