2025-11-09🌿 Agricultural Technical College Organizes a Symposium on Sustainable Agricultural Development: Roots in the Present; Fruits in the Future
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Shehab Ahmed Al-Bajari, Dean of the Agricultural Technical College, the Department of Animal Production Techniques organized a scientific symposium entitled:
“Sustainable Agricultural Development: Roots in the Present; Fruits in the Future.”
The symposium was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Doaa Qasim Sabri, who highlighted the importance of sustainable agricultural development in addressing environmental and economic challenges. She emphasized the crucial role of scientific research and modern technologies in achieving food security and preserving natural resources.
The symposium concluded with several key recommendations, including:

Enhancing agricultural research to develop modern production techniques that adapt to climate change.

Promoting rational water use through advanced irrigation systems and water-saving practices.

Raising environmental awareness among farmers via continuous training and educational programs.

Encouraging the shift toward organic farming to reduce dependency on chemical inputs.

The event witnessed active participation from faculty members and staff of the Agricultural Technical College – Mosul, who contributed valuable insights and discussions aimed at building a more sustainable agricultural future.
