The program aims to prepare qualified technical personnel who possess some qualities such as:
• Increasing water use efficiency, dry farming, water reuse, water harvesting, reducing the effect of wind erosion and stabilizing sand dunes.
•High skills in various sciences and specializations in combating desertification techniques in controlling remote irrigation management and smart irrigation, designing and building structures for water harvesting facilities, using computers to predict wind erosion, designing structures and facilities for stabilizing sand dunes.
•Enhancing the concepts of combating desertification and the comprehensiveness of its local, regional and global damages.
• Preparing the graduate to be successful in completing his academic career by obtaining certificates after the technical bachelor’s degree, and providing broad attention to the problems that arise in professional practice, including teamwork, leadership, occupational safety, ethics, service, and economics.
