The center was established in 2022 based on the provisions of the Law of Scientific and Consulting Services Offices in Institutions of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. (7) of 1997, as amended after the university obtained the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. (Q/321 on 7/27/2022).
Office objectives:
The Consulting Center for Statistical Analysis is considered one of the basic units in the Administrative Technical College. It aims to harness the scientific energies available in the college to serve the scientific research movement.
The consulting center also aims to meet the requirements of graduate and preliminary studies students in implementing statistical analysis for graduation research, master’s theses, and doctoral dissertations.
It was also one of the goals of establishing the center. Supporting communication with researchers by cooperating with them in solving problems that obstruct the progress of scientific research, by providing scientific statistical advice.
The center’s objectives also include:Providing consultations, services, and scientific and teaching expertise to state departments and the public and private sectors in exchange for appropriate fees.
Providing its services and expertise to citizens at an appropriate level of prices.
Contributing to raising the level of professional practice in Iraq.
Increasing the expertise of faculty members and technicians in the professional and applied fields.
Exchange Experiences with similar offices, centers, and related parties.
Organizational structure of the center

The office is supervised by a council formed in accordance with the provisions of Article (3) of the aforementioned law. The council, in its current composition, includes:

The Council holds at least one meeting during one month, and sends the minutes of its meetings containing its decisions and recommendations to the office of the President of the University to obtain his approval before starting to implement them, in implementation of the provisions of Article (4) of the Law on Scientific and Consulting Services Offices in the Institutions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. (7) of 1997 as amended.
In order to achieve the goals it seeks, the Council performs the tasks entrusted to it in Article (5) of the aforementioned law.

2- General indicators in the performance of the Consultative Center for Statistical Analysis
The office seeks to achieve the goals for which it was established:
- Statistical analysis of graduation research.
Statistical analysis of higher diploma research, master’s theses, and doctoral dissertations.
Statistical analysis of scientific research.
Conducting scientific courses regarding the statistical programs SPSS, Amos, R program, Eviews program.
Printing graduation research and higher diploma, master’s, and doctoral theses. .
Statistical consulting.
Work accomplished by the center:
During its recent career, the Center has completed dozens of statistical analyzes that varied between statistical analysis for researchers and students of primary and postgraduate studies and providing statistical consultations.
Center staffing:
In completing the various works it contracts, the Center relies on the Center’s members with an elite group of those who have experience and specialization, whether they are members of the teaching staff at the Northern Technical University or other universities, under contracts concluded with them that include the nature of the contracted work, the duration of the contract, the amount of wages, and other matters related to the obligations of both parties. And their rights, based on the authority granted to the Center’s Council under the text of Article (5/First/6 and 7) of the Law of Scientific and Consulting Services Offices in the Institutions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. (7) of 1997, as amended. The contract is signed by the Office Director based on the authority. authorized to him under the text of Article (7/Second) of the aforementioned law.
