The Technical Master’s Thesis at the Northern Technical University Examines Strategic Agility and Its Impact on Organizational Performance

A master’s thesis in Business Management Technologies was discussed at the Technical Administrative College / Mosul – Northern Technical University, on the morning of Thursday, 04/12/2025, entitled:
“Strategic Agility and Its Impact on Organizational Performance: An Analytical Diagnostic Study of the Opinions of a Sample of Administrative Leaders at the University of Mosul”
submitted by Rayan Thamer Mohsen, in Al-Hikma Hall at the Technical Administrative College.

The study aimed to identify the role of strategic agility—represented by its four dimensions (strategic sensitivity, resource fluidity, collective responsibility, and clarity of vision)—in enhancing organizational performance with its dimensions (efficiency, organizational effectiveness, and learning).

The study adopted both the descriptive and analytical approaches. Data were collected through field interviews and a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 185 administrative leaders, of which 176 valid responses were retrieved, with a response rate of 96%. The data were analyzed using the SPSS V.26 statistical program.

The findings revealed significant positive correlations and effects between strategic agility and organizational performance, confirming the necessity of developing strategic sensitivity among academic and administrative leaders, and improving the organization’s ability to adapt to environmental changes. This contributes to enhancing institutional sustainability and maintaining competitiveness.
