The Technical Agricultural College organizes a symposium on “Black Gold from Date Seeds: Environmental Sustainability and Water Purification.”
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Shihab Ahmed Youssef Al-Bajary, Dean of the Technical Agricultural College, the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division at our college, in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Department at the University Presidency and within the framework of sustainable development activities, organized a symposium entitled:
“Black Gold from Date Seeds: Environmental Sustainability and Water Purification.”
The lecture was delivered by: Asst. Prof. Dr. Ghassan Fathi Mohammed
The symposium aimed to:
Identify the main components of date seeds and their health benefits.
Explore the uses of date seed powder for: A. Purification of drinking water. B. Recycling date industry waste using date seed powder.
Participants: A number of faculty members and staff from the Technical Agricultural College – Mosul attended the symposium.
