Higher Diploma Research at the Northern Technical University Discusses the Role of the Strategic Lens Dimensions in Enhancing Educational Sustainability Strategy

The Administrative Technical College / Mosul held the discussion of a Higher Diploma research in Business Administration Technologies, submitted by Ahmed Ali Ahmed, entitled:
“The Dimensions of the Strategic Lens and Their Role in Enhancing the Educational Sustainability Strategy: An Analytical Study at the Northern Technical University,”
which took place at Al-Hikma Hall at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

The research aimed to examine the nature of the relationship between the Strategic Lens dimensions—represented by stakeholder engagement, resource mobilization, knowledge development, and culture management—as the independent variable, and the Educational Sustainability Strategy as the dependent variable at the Northern Technical University.

The study adopted the analytical approach and used a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool. The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 75 administrative leaders at the university. Data were analyzed using several statistical techniques, including frequencies, percentages, mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, correlation coefficient, and simple linear regression, through the SPSS statistical program.

Key Findings:

• The results revealed a significant correlation and impact relationship between the dimensions of the Strategic Lens and the Educational Sustainability Strategy at both the overall and partial levels.

• The findings support the possibility of adopting the Strategic Lens as an effective framework for building and enhancing educational sustainability within the university.

The study recommended strengthening the Strategic Lens dimensions and integrating them into the university’s vision by promoting and periodically reviewing the educational sustainability mission and vision to ensure alignment with institutional strategies and long-term objectives.
