The Technical Agricultural College – Mosul on the Threshold of Launching a Ph.D. Program in Animal Production Technologies

In a scientific achievement that reinforces the standing of the Technical Agricultural College – Mosul and its pioneering role in supporting research and academic development, the respected Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Bajary, welcomed the ministerial committee assigned to study the establishment of a Ph.D. program in Animal Production Technologies.

The committee conducted an extensive field tour that covered the advanced scientific laboratories, livestock farms, poultry units, as well as the fish hatchery, where they reviewed the available resources and infrastructure qualifying the College to host this advanced program.

The ministerial committee praised the high scientific standards, robust facilities, and suitable academic environment, reflecting the College’s seriousness and high readiness to introduce this vital specialization. They also emphasized that the College’s resources represent a qualitative addition that will contribute to advancing scientific research and serving the animal production sector in Iraq.

This visit comes within the framework of the College’s continuous efforts to strengthen its postgraduate programs, open new horizons for researchers, and align with national directions in developing the agricultural sector and achieving food security.
