Department of Plant Production Technologies
It was created in 2011 with the establishment of the college, and aims to prepare qualified technical cadres in the field of plant life techniques in the fields of plant improvement and propagation, field and horticultural crop production, and plant protection from pests and diseases.
Department goals
Preparing technical qualifications that enable them to participate in the labor market efficiently. Providing specialized knowledge in the principles of agricultural engineering techniques through learning the disciplines of plant, soil science, horticulture, field crops, the environment and life technologies, agricultural extension and economics, in addition to modern methods and methods in dry agriculture and water rationing and conservation.
High skills in various agricultural sciences and disciplines that are able to deal with work requirements with modern technical methods and develop the necessary specialized skills in the implementation and design of laboratory and field projects in addition to developing the ability to address problems that occur using the latest methods used at the global level.
Promoting the concepts of qualitative and quantitative excellence in order to achieve the standards of quality and scientific competence.
Communication skills and the development of the ability to organize and present information effectively, whether orally or in writing, or by using video and audio means of communication.
To prepare the graduate to be successful in completing his academic career by obtaining post-bachelor degrees and to give broad attention to the problems that arise in professional practice, including teamwork, leadership, occupational safety, ethics, service and economics.
