The guideline was prepared by three researchers from different Arab countries: myself representing Iraq, Dr. Elsa Stott (representing Lebanon) and Dr. Youssef Saleh (representing Saudi Arabia).

Successfully submitted and registered multiple gene sequences in the NCBI GenBank (National Center for Biotechnology Information), contributing to the global database of genetic information.
4- Reviewer for numerous scientific manuscripts submitted to reputable international peer-reviewed journals in the fields of plant genetics, molecular biology, and agricultural biotechnology.

Pioneer of Sustainable Agriculture and Environmental Policy
Professor Samir Zakhia Al-Madwar (PhD, University of Paris, 1987) merges French-Lebanese expertise to advance sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation. A reform-minded academic, he modernized university curricula and authored 41 influential studies in agricultural economics. As a lecturer (Lebanese University) and former researcher (France’s INRA), he steered Lebanon’s post-conflict agricultural recovery toward global standards. Recognized as Lebanon’s foremost “green” intellectual, he drives environmental policy and legislation, integrating scientific innovation with Lebanon’s ecological heritage.

He holds a doctorate from Baghdad University / College of Science / Department of Life Sciences / Plant in 1991 and is a distinguished academic that mixes the practical and scientific aspects of academic in the field of conservative agriculture – sustainable agriculture and the production of field crops. He has more than 45 tight knowledge. He worked to manage many joint agricultural projects in the field of preservative agriculture between the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture, ICARDA, Mosul University and the World Food Organization WFP. He has distinguished administrative experience, as he held many positions, the most important of which is the Director General of Nineveh Agriculture and then the Dean of the Agricultural Technical College at the Northern Technical University 2018-2019 and currently works as director of the Dry and Conservative Agriculture Research Center / Mosul University.
