Our university participates in “Mottahidoon” Conference for Environmental Justice…

Under the guidance of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, our university, represented by Dr. Abdel Bar Ahmed Noori, Director of the Technical Center for Research, participated in a United Conference for Environmental Justice, which the “Al-Salam Al-Mostadam” Foundation organized with the participation of representatives from the departments of Nineveh Governorate concerned with environmental protection. The conference addressed environmental challenges The great challenge facing the residents of Gayyarah district and the role of the concerned departments in contributing to finding immediate and strategic solutions to solve this crisis.

 Dr. Abdel Barr gave a speech on the university’s role and contributions to support the environment through the projects of planting one million trees, fish hatchery, green Mosul, and others, expressing the university’s readiness to provide advisory and agricultural services in coordination with government departments.

For his part, Dr. Muhannad Al-Hayali, director of the “Mottahidoon” project for environmental justice, praised the role of the Northern Technical University in enriching the conference and extending a hand of cooperation to serve the community and a healthy environment in Nineveh Governorate.
