Department Of Electronic Technologies
The department was founded in 1988 since the establishment of the Institute and receives students from the graduates of the preparatory study of the scientific branch (applied and biology) and the professional study of the industrial branch exclusively and of both sexes and aims to prepare technical cadres of middle holders of a technical diploma and is in the department receive engineering sciences in the fields of electronics, electrical circuits, communications, personal and accurate computers, measuring devices, audio and visual devices and other specialized sciences and give important lessons in the maintenance of devices. Students receive two months of intensive training in various industrial enterprises located in Salah al-Din Governorate.
The department contains specialized scientific laboratories (m. measuring devices, m. electronic circuits, m. electrical circuits, communication laboratory, m. electronics, m. computer, m. audio and visual, m. control (PLC), m. digital circuits, m. microcomputers in addition to maintenance workshops and electricity laboratories)

Providing knowledge of electronic technologies and acquiring technical skill in the operation and maintenance of electronic devices ,providing the necessary knowledge to deal with computer technologies in its various fields .
Department’s message
Providing experience in dealing with electronic devices, computers, modern technology, ways to use them in various practical applications, how to deal with their solid materials and installation, and the necessary knowledge of electronic devices.
Department objectives
The department aims to graduate qualified technical personnel to work in the operation and maintenance of electronic circuits, audio and visual devices, receiving and transmitting devices and microprocessor circuits.
Graduate job description:
Provide the graduate with the necessary knowledge and skill to manage computer systems, how to deal with their solid materials and installation, and the necessary knowledge of electronic devices.
Providing the graduate with basic information in the field of computer specialization, starting from the selection of the most suitable devices, passing through the basics of Operation, up to the assembly and maintenance of both types.
Prepare and prepare the graduate to enter the world of work according to his different requirements while enabling him to understand scientific developments in the field of computers, networks and operation.
Prepare the graduate to be able to solve technical problems in the field of computers, overcome system failures, analyze their causes, maintain, operate and install electronic devices .
Preparing the graduate to be able to identify and understand the sources and requirements of development in computer systems.
