At the Northern Technical University, as an academic educational institution, we strive for excellence by providing an innovative and advanced learning environment that aligns with the latest global trends in higher education. Driven by our continuous commitment to developing academic staff and enhancing student capabilities, the university stands as a pioneering model in adopting and applying sustainability concepts across all aspects of education and research.
In line with this vision, a comprehensive mechanism has been developed to assess the cultural and cognitive level of sustainability among the university’s faculty and students. This mechanism aims to measure the extent of understanding and knowledge of sustainability concepts among faculty members and students, as well as their applications in various academic and professional fields. Additionally, we seek to enhance their awareness of the environmental, social, and economic responsibilities required to address contemporary challenges.
Through this mechanism, we offer a precise and comprehensive assessment that reflects our members’ ability to engage with sustainability issues, whether through scientific research or by integrating these concepts into academic curricula. This initiative also contributes to fostering an academic environment based on critical thinking and innovation, enabling the university to graduate a creative and qualified generation capable of addressing global challenges and making meaningful contributions to the development of society and the environment.
