Vision
Department of Quality Assurance and university performance aim to be a basis for spreading and applying a quality concepts and schemes to provide a different kind of support for educational, scientific research and community service. It is also looking to be a center for excellence and innovation. This could obtained by applying all these concepts on all academic institutions of Northern Technical University. in addition, this department is looking forward to adopt an interior quality system to follow up the global development of higher education, and that will lead the university to achieve the world ranking system requirements that needed to have a place whiten international universities ranking list.
Mission
The main message of Quality Assurance department is applying high quality concept of Northern Technical University on the academic and research institutions. These concepts are subject of evaluation, according to the international academic standards. In addition, this department aim to serve the community and it prepare to reach the global academic accreditation. Furthermore, direct the high education to follow the right ways to produce successful educational products.
Objectives
Quality assurance and University Performance Department aims to:
- Achieve a high academic level of the university’s colleges and institutes. In addition to constructing a solid academic ground by applying a higher educational standards and improving the high educational environment.
- Educational system and process evaluation through evaluate the university outcome that related to the quality of student education, strength of scientific research, employee performance, academic program and curriculum, educational services and facilities, and university social activities.
- Providing different kind of support for all colleges, institutes and research centers.
- Helping, supporting and advising to create a new committees or subcommittees.
- Support University’s Colleges and centers to chose and adopt categories that will use as a start point to reach the academic accreditation.
